Our Story, Our Legacy

At AGM, we take great pride in our rich legacy that spans 38 years. Since our establishment in 1986, we have been committed to fostering academic achievement, personal growth, and a strong sense of community among our students, faculty, and alumni. Through the generous donation of the Minassian Family, the school was founded next to the Forty Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church.

At the time, there were only six faculty members and 39 students: 18 in pre-kindergarten; 12 in kindergarten; 7 in first grade; and 2 in second grade. Gradually, third through sixth grades were added to complete the full elementary division.

The school continued to grow at a steady pace, and currently it has over 165 students. AGM has proudly served the community as the only Armenian day-school in Orange County. We honor the past, embrace the present, and shape the future of AGM.

Throughout the years, our school has stood as a beacon of learning and character development. As we continue to build upon our legacy, we remain dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to  pursue excellence and embrace challenges with resilience. Our Armenian traditions rooted in our Christian faith serve as guiding principles, anchoring us in our commitment to academic rigor and integrity.

Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School is part of the Western Prelacy Armenian Schools, which comprises 10 schools throughout California governed by the Board of Regents located in Glendale, California.
